Multi-Seeds Spelt Loaf

I've been avoiding bread like the plague because the shop bought ones have a lot of ingredients and oil and I'm trying to cut down on "processed foods" or shop bought pre-made foods. 
There is something about homemade freshly baked bread that is so inviting but I never really knew how to make it.. I did a little research and decided to make a loaf. It was approved by my partner who loves food -mostly really tasty vegan junk food and my newly vegan father who is completely oil free and plant based due to health complications.
So, needless to say this savoury bread was a winner.



Multi-Seeds Spelt Loaf

Ingredients:
- 4 cups spelt flour
- 1 sachet of dry yeast or baking powder (approx. 15g)
- 2 cups of warm water
- 1/2 tsp of ground turmeric
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- Mix of seeds; I used a shop bought mix along with some flax seeds and sesame seeds. 

Steps:

1. Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl and stir to combine.

2. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour in the warm water.

3. Stir well in a folding motion to combine all ingredients.

4. Line a bread tin with parchment paper or grease if you're ok with using oil. 

5. Pour mixture into tin, sprinkle some seeds over the top and allow to sit for 20 minutes covered with a tea towel. 

6. Whilst you're letting the mixture sit, preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

7. Place in the oven and let cook for roughly 20-30 minutes *this is a guess as I forgot to time it...just bake until you can put in a knife and it comes out clean* 

8. Once taken out of the oven and let sit for roughly 15 minutes.

9. Slice a few pieces off and top with whatever toppings you like, my favourite is avocado!
